Kins Mull on Filing Charges vs Teacher of Suicide Victim
The family of a suicide victim is mulling on filing charges against his teacher at Ramon Torres National High School (RTNHS) for cyber bullying and for shaming him.
The family of Erichan Demafeliz, 15, a grade 8 student of Ramon Torres National High School in Bago City and resident of Purok Acacia, Barangay Napoles, Bago City is planning to charge the said unnamed teacher after the victim hanged himself in their house.
The victim was suspected to have stolen the iPod of his classmate. Because of that incident, he was bullied in the Facebook account of RTNHS Spotter saying, “bwesit ka, d best kawatan in the world! Mag paka bobo ka!”
The said Facebook account was deactivated already.
The victim reportedly left their house around 6:00 a.m. the day the incident happened but not wearing his school uniform. He reportedly went back home around 1:00 p.m. and was discovered by his sister Jesselyn hanging around 2:45 p.m..
At about 6:00 p.m. the victim’s cousin identified as a certain Army went to Bago City PNP to report the incident as pre-requisite for embalming, only to find out that the victim was blottered by his teacher for stealing his classmate’s iPod.
The police were also set to entrap him at 3:00 p.m. on that day.
The family is blaming the teacher for not informing them that he allegedly stole his classmate’s iPod.*
