M. Padilla Police Nabs Rape Suspect

A rape suspect who hid from the arms of the law for nine years was arrested by combined police operatives in his temporary residence at Barangay Tinadtaran, Buenavista town, Guimaras province around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Arrested was Gamaciel Sinahon Gimpayan, 39, “Alias Ale,” married, native of Sitio Manaol, Barangay Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla town at his temporary residence.

The arresting officers were led by Senior Inspector Allan Reloj of Moises Padilla, Guimaras police led by Senior Inspector Jefrey E. Ferrer together with Buenavista PNP and elements of Guimaras Police Provincial Office Special Operation Group led by Chief Inspector Stephen Somosot.

His arrest warrant was signed by Judge Francisco Rodriguez of Regional Trial Court, Branch-63 in La Carlota City issued on June 10, 2008.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

He was brought back to Moises Padilla town and detained.*(CMGarde)
