PAMET Conducts Oath Taking Ceremony For New Medical Technologists
The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists Inc. (PAMET) Negros Occidental Chapter recently held its oath taking ceremony and induction of new PAMET members at the SMX Convention Center, SM City Bacolod.

About 141 new registered Medical Technologists from Negros Occidental and Bacolod City attended the event with Hon. Marian M. Tantingco, a member of the PRC Professional Regulatory Board of Medical Technology who conducted the oath of profession. While PAMET National President Ronaldo E. Puno was the keynote speaker. Puno congratulated the medical technology schools in Bacolod for a very good performance and for being into the top 4 performing schools in the August 2017 Medical Technology Licensure Examination and with the highest recorded national passing percentage of 85.16%.
He also invited all new medical technologists to get involved with the organization and in attending seminars and conventions especially that PAMET is the only accredited CPD provider by the PRC that will provide them with CPD units which is a requirement for the renewal of their PRC ID’s every three years.
PAMET Visayas Regional Director Fredeswinda S. Cortes presided over the oath of membership for new members of the organization. Plaque of recognition was presented to Colegio San Agustin –Bacolod and to the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) as top 1 & 4 performing schools respectively. Negros Occidental had a total of 264 new registered medical technologists who passed the August 2017 board exams coming from 3 medical technology schools in Bacolod City.* (PR)
