Marang Festival Sales Hit 100k
The two-day celebration of the First Marang Festival at the Provincial Capitol grounds ended successfully with a total sales of P101,251 last Saturday.
The festival which was participated in by Marang farmers and residents from the 15 puroks of Brgy. Colonia Divina generated a total sales of P62, 407 on the first day and P38,844 on the second.
Gov. Alfredo Marañon said that this is one of the provincial government’s ways of supporting farmer-producers market their own products to urban consumers and help them in terms of value adding.
Meanwhile, Barangay Captian of Colonia Divina Johnny Buhayan thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to market their products.*(Capitol News)
