6-Year-Old Boy Dies in Motorcycle Crash
A 6-year-old boy got killed while the driver and another backrider were injured when their motorcycle collided with a Nissan Pathfinder Pick-up at Bangga Tagnipis in Hacienda Amparo in Barangay Old Sagay in Sagay City Saturday night.
Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto, Sagay PNP OIC chief, identified the victim as Kienhon James Garcia Vistar, 6 years old, if Barangay Taba-ao in Sagay. He sustained head and body injuries and was declared dead-on-arrival at Lopez District Planters Foundation Hospital in that city.
Injured were Renzo Dimson, 19, single of EB Magalona town, and Keit Mahilum Vistar, 23, single of Barangay Taba-ao, Sagay.
The motorcycle, a RUSI Splinter 150, is driven by Renzo Dimson, 19, single of EB Magalona town with another back-rider Keit Mahilum Vistar, 23, single of BarangayTaba-ao.
Driver of Nissan Pathfinder Pick-up was Ivan Santillana Milabo, 47, married of Charmaine Village in Barangay Poblacion in Sagay.
Police investigation disclosed that the motorcycle was bound for Sagay while the pick-up was running in the opposite direction going Barangay Old Sagay when they collided in an ascending curve at the place.
Milabo surrendered to Sagay PNP.*
Drug Pusher Escapes; Shabu & Firearms Seized
A newly identified drug pusher escaped while being subjected to a buy-bust operation by the San Carlos City PNP but the cops were able to seize suspected shabu and a firearm Saturday night at Sitio Luno in Barangay Palampas in that city..
Superintendent Arturo Fullero, San Carlos PNP OIC police chief, identified the suspect as Claudio Pataytay, of legal age, jobless and resident of the place.
Pataytay detected the presence of police authorities so he was able to escape.
Recovered from his residence were one caliber .45 gun with Serial Number 745332 and its chamber loaded with magazine with three live bullets and four extra live bullets and a black holster.
Police operatives also confiscated from his house two small sachets and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspected shabu has a market value of P8,000.*(CMGarde)
